Working closely with businesses, industry groups, state government agencies and other relevant organisations, the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA) delivers a range of programs designed to stimulate the city’s economic growth with a focus on business growth, investment attraction, growing our visitor economy, residential growth, marketing the city as a whole and promoting Rundle Mall as Adelaide’s premier shopping destination. AEDA is a subsidiary of the City of Adelaide.

AEDA recognised the need to develop an ecommerce platform to support businesses in the Adelaide CBD and North Adelaide. AEDA is working with technology partner, Arcadier who has developed a tailored solution. The result is byADL, a marketplace available to businesses across the city.

It’s not only a win for businesses. Customers can shop from businesses across the city in one transaction with orders before 4:00 pm, and within 50km, delivered the next day. It’s shopping with convenience and the knowledge that all the sales support the local city economy.

byADL acknowledges the Kaurna people as the Traditional Owners of the Country where the city of Adelaide is situated today, and pays its respect to Elders past and present.
